Mindfulness for kids

Northland Healthy Minds developed this toolkit to bring mindfulness education to young people virtually. The toolkit is intended for kids ages 5-15 and involves making a glitter jar and learning how to use it to settle emotions. It is best completed with an adult like a parent/guardian, child care provider, youth worker or teacher.

Krysta Kaas is a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Facilitator in Duluth, MN and regularly teaches Mindfulness for Kids courses. Research shows that mindfulness can have tangible benefits for children and those who care for them.
