About the Event

Cost: $80 (lunch and clock hour certificates will be provided)

Research continues to show that untreated trauma is a common thread weaving through many problems facing individuals and society. Addiction, mental health symptoms, chronic medical issues, and interpersonal difficulties can all be directly linked to unresolved trauma. This day-long presentation will provide an overview of the neurobiology of trauma, an understanding of the ways that we cope, and pathways towards healing. We will explore how a trauma focused approach can improve our clinical work, inform our self-care practices, and benefit both clients and providers.
