Anxiety Open Door Group

NAMI Minnesota (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Open Door Support Groups are peer-to-peer groups facilitated by trained volunteers who have a personal experience with an anxiety or panic disorder. Confidential meetings teach anxiety management strategies and address lifestyle issues.

These meetings are free of charge and registration is not necessary. The group will meet on the first and third Wednesday of every month.

Circle of Parents Support Group

Circle of Parents support groups provides a friendly, safe, and nurturing environment for parents and other caregivers. It's a space to discuss the ups and downs of parenting children. Each group as a trained COP facilitator.

NAMI Peer Support Group

The NAMI Douglas County Free Peer Support Group meets the 1st & 3rd Thursday and 2nd & 4th Wednesday of every month at Essentia Superior. It is facilitated by trained individuals who are in recovery.

Connections Support Group

NAMI Connection is a recovery support group for adults with mental illness, regardless of their diagnosis. The group is offered free of charge and meets weekly for 90 minutes. All are led by trained individuals who are also in recovery - people who understand the challenges we face. NAMI Connection groups offer a flexible and casual environment without an educational format, and no registration or enrollment obligation is required.
